Case Logic Fashion Tote Laptop CaseIt’s a thing, it’s trendy. Or it’s a new thing in our network, but I like to think it’s some cool thing. Nah. Wow, I’ve gone blabbery trying to make my intro unique and me. Anyway. This is the Related Posts from Lipped Media entry.

There’s only one this week, but that’s pretty good, although you never know what might pop up!

Pursed Lips featured a laptop bag by Case Logic that’s half stylish details, half practical business; which is pretty good.

Acme iPod Wallet

[Via Chip Chick:] I prefer a perfect-fit case for all possible iPod accessories, or at least something large enough. But the special thing about the Acme iPod Wallet is that it come in all colors to match iPods.

Acme iPod Wallet Lime

All colors can be ordered to fit the regular and mini iPods; pastel lime, pink, blue and black with pastel interior or really nifty perforated leather in assorted/red trim. Prices start at $35 for a mini sized case.

They even fit the standard ear buds and offer full-sides protection.

The Grandest Land-line: Modern Retro Phone

Okay so although we live in a land of cordless love it’s nice every now and then to just sit in one spot and chat. Sort of a throw back to the olden days. What better way to go back in time than with this ultra sleek, ultra stylish phone. My favorite is the metal finish. The touch-tone buttons make it so much easier to dial and the look of this phone really takes the cake, so sophisticated! It comes in red, black, metal and ivory.

Pottery Barn Grand Phone

They also come in a similar wall mounted style.

Laptops with Mouse Trays?

I just received my new laptop, and I was struck with this thought: there should be slide out mini-mouse (he he) trays on every one (where the CD drives currently are)! Like this idea? Good, let’s get this made, people!

The 800 x 600 Problem

Oh, the stories to tell about my new laptop …. *tangent*

I’m a big designer. Ella and I became friends designing online. Oh, I mean graphic/web designing, not L’s beloved fashion illustrating.

Anyway, I helped design this layout. I design various things online and Ella was stuck at how to create this vision. I loved that vision and realized it would actually be quite easy. (From that, she lured me into this blog, actually into being very, very excited about this blog.)

But I was stepping into something bigger than I realized. Read more »

Samsung Q1: Tiny Ultra-Mobile PC

Samsung Q1

As someone recently searching for a light-as-can-be mobile computer, this tablet-sized, 1.7 lb PC by Samsung is very interesting. As someone who’s light, herself, I can’t lug something huge anywhere. But the reviews for the Samsung Q1 are not good.

The Hottest Cordless Phone

Vtech i578Okay so cordless phones are a must have in the house right. I mean everyone needs at least one. Trouble is it’s tough to find one that A) Works and B) Doesn’t look totally ugly. I spent seriously months looking for a phone and pay off was finding the mother of all.. The Vtech i578. Okay I don’t totally want to go off, but this phone rocks! It’s 5.8ghz (which means it’s not going to be all fuzzy with a bad connection and your neighbors won’t be able to listen in) it’s amazingly clear. There are about a million features including:

Fog-Free Shower Mirror

Fog-Free Lighted Shower MirrorHow is it that I never knew about this? I always wanted this! A mirror for the shower, well it’s been made by Sharper Image: the Fog-Free Shower Mirror. It even comes with a light (well, it never can be bright enough in there!)! There’s also a Deluxe Mirror that attaches to a shower head with a 3x magnifying mirror on the opposite side.

What kind of ticks me off is that this product is only manufactured and marketed to men for shaving their faces. Do I need to tell you that women would love this product, too?! I’d use it for things like checking out my acne … and … just for looking at myself! If a mirror is not a girl’s product, well what is?!

I even made this mock-up of “me” “checking myself out” with this product.

Begeren Tribeca Laptop Bag

[Via Chip Chick] Look! It’s the laptop user’s version of a Balenciaga, with a $1,375 price tag to match.

Begeren Tribeca Laptop Bag

Oh, please. Studs are so 2005. It ain’t that cute, with no feminine details (or spot of pink in sight). Wait, though, the “Mahogany” is beautiful. But it’s still not for me. And I’m not just mad at it because of the cost. Not just.
