When the iPhone was about to debut, I had the great business idea to knit a perfectly-sized cozy for all those who were already Apple or pre-iPhone crazy. It would be designed to look like the cell phone with sewable-buttons that had designs artistically mimicking the default screen’s buttons.

Well I am not a big knitter (ouch to my wrists) so I never finished the knit base, and for some reason never decided to move on to sewing with black felt instead.

Well now even though it’s years later, a much better product has surfaced. In felt but also felt buttons that 100% mirror the iPhone’s. Yeah it makes a lot of sales, sure the money’s not mine – but hey this is an even better product anyway.

Oh no, say anything but… is pink out in the mobile world? Sure, T-Mobile (Mr. Pink themselves) and Verizon, Sprint… have great new phones in pink (stay tuned for some of these)… but AT&T (a bit of a leader since the iPhone) only has slightly older models in the shade(s).

With them, and others too (eek!) what abounds is a sea of red. Is red really the new chic color for girls…huh?

Well if you’re a pink warrior like I, you don’t need to fret whatever your carrier is…. there are usually pink snug-fitting cases/faceplates for at least the most popular or coolest models or shapes. (And the shape/opening style is one actually more important feature, thanks to availability of covers, yes I must admit).

So you shouldn’t delay when in need of upgrading your old phone. (Older models are faster obsolete with the new 3G, in my speculation.) Find your best “fit” and browse for some fitting & flattering shaded case. Who knows, you might prefer a black & white polka dot cellie instead! There’s a world of imagined possibilities out there. Phones can be like clothes. (And that’s why this blog exists.)

The Ogio Chassy laptop bag struck me for a few reasons. 1. It’s pink. 2. Tons of pockets, and I quote, “jewelry / make-up / no – boys – allowed pockets.” Wow, that’s some serious marketing.

There are also “back panel mail and receipts file pocket – rear fold-out water bottle pocket.” Heavy duty perfection.

Tip: This bag is does not convert into a backpack, as some images make it appear. I wish it would, because I’ve realized I need the support sporting heavy machinery. Maybe in the next collection!

Love, love, love the iPod! Can’t leave home without it; can’t be at home without it. iPod is a must, must, must have. Because mine is so small and fragile, I have to have a case.
